Please feel free to view our story.  You will find this is a story of dreams, hopes and aspirations.   Because of our affiliation with a company of incrediable integrity and history we've been able to provide for our family and have a plan for the future.

Our Dream Land:

Since 1986 We,  have been involved with a cause dear to our hearts—a non-profit pregnancy support ministry, where we have been in charge of as many as 5 offices supporting over 2,000 women. 

In 1997 Tom became the Director of Operations overseeing the offices and fund raising for the organization. "Over the years our family would get used to not being paid for 8 weeks at a time" . We also would sacrifice salary to keep offices functioning- forgoing simple pleasures like family vacations or weekly meals out. "The kids thought that any eating place that had a hostess was a big-time occasion."

Our Family made other financial sacrifices to work with the organization, including going without benefits and retirement savings. Moreover, our lives were so full with home schooling our 3 children and serving in a local church, there didn't seem to be enough time or energy to take on a business that could bring the family additional income. "With all that we were doing, I found that I needed more energy to keep up and I remembered back to my college days when I was first introduced to Shaklee," says Gail. Gail then found a Shaklee Distributor through her support organization and began taking Energizing Soy Protein.

When Gail learned from her Distributor that she could earn the price of her products, she knew she had to learn more—even though she was tremendously busy. After doing her Internet research to investigate Shaklee's integrity, she wanted to get involved.

"I spent my "kitchen" time listening to tapes and DVD's and would talk to Tom about everything I was learning. Tom, being the objective encouraging skeptic that he is, forced me to study and learn more."After doing our due diligence, we decided that we would put ourselves on a 15 year plan with Shaklee.

 Gail launched her business w in January 2003 and she got her first check for $196.24.  The consistency of a monthly Shaklee income gave Tom and Gail the freedom to do something they hadn't done in a while—dream.  "Maybe our dreams were small compared to others, but they were our dreams. The dream of building our own log cabin home made us giddy.  The idea of hosting youth groups combined with teaching and counseling excited us.  For us, dreaming was the beginning."

Through our  Shaklee business we began to see some of our dreams come true, including earning three Shaklee incentive trips. We also took a "dream" trip of our own— to Northeast Pennsylvania where we found some property that sat on a hilltop overlooking the Endless Mountains of Pennsylvania. We drove home unable to believe what was happening.  Because of the Hope that Shaklee gave, we found ourselves proud owners of 17.5 acreas.

We have begun to slowly work on developing our property.  It is our hopes that within the next year we will ground break for "The Shepherd's Inn" and enter into a new chapter of our lives.

 All of this has been possible through Shaklee but most of all The Lord's leading us to a company of phenomenal possibilities.
