Why Shaklee?  Our History

            Dr. Forrest C. Shaklee, a friend of Henry Ford, Harvey Firestone, & Thomas Edison, created VITALIZED MINERALS (vitamin) in 1915.  His philosophy of “Living in Harmony with Nature” helped him create a company that found its products in nature.  Since 1956 Shaklee scientists have worked to create the best natural health products in the world.  We have continued to pioneer products that are naturally safe and proven effective.

Shaklee’s household product Basic H was earth safe & bio-degradeable in 1960 while other businesses were creating toxic synthetic household products.   Shaklee didn’t need to join the “Green” movement.  Shaklee has been “Green” since 1956.  And it doesn’t stop there...

We start with nature and search for the finest natural ingredients.  Source ingredients receive over 350 tests to  ensure no heavy metals, pesticides or harmful contaminants.  Each year Shaklee conducts over 80,000 quality tests to guarantee the purity and safety of each and every product.

Always Works:

Other companies make claims their products work, but Shaklee products are based on proven science and the results are published in peer-reviewed journals. Over 90 published to date. 

     The UC Berkeley School of Public Health researched & tested Long Term Dietary Supplement Usage (Landmark Study 2007).  Results proved people who took Shaklee supplements had markedly better health including lower levels of diabetes and heart disease than those who took  other brands of multivitamins or no supplements at all. The 54 gold medals won by Shaklee-powered world-class athletes support this current study.
