Tips to Detox your MIND:
- Do a mental audit. Record your self-talk throughout the day and keep track of when you are negative.
- Take an inventory of where you are in life and what you want to focus on.
- Practice the ART of Gratitude: Daily write 10 reasons you are thankful
- Learn the art of reframing and how you look at things. When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. Are you looking at a half full or half empty glass What you put into your body also affects your thinking and emotions.
- Consider what you are putting into your body. Consider doing a sugar detox while feeding yourself some good nutrition.
- Look at obstacles as a growth experience. Spend time journaling the various ways you can grow from this challenge
- Unplug from Social Media. Spend time away from technologies and nightly news.
- Learn to say no. Detox your calendar of non-essentials that take up mind space. Schedule time for yourself
- Stop comparing yourself to others Have quiet time
- Spend time with God— clean out and think on Godly
- Identify energy drainers and toxic people. Who are the 5 people you surround yourself with? Get rid of clutter (within your home)
