- Make time to nourish your soul. Spending time in the Bible is the perfect start to your day. Prayer is a conversation with your Creator. Realize that prayer is to the spirit, as exercise is to the body.
- What you allow into your mind and life has an impact on your spiritual health. Keep track and purge yourself from harmful websites, nightly news and depressing movies. Identify the lies that have deceived you, and replace them with the truth.
- Stop comparing yourself to others, instead make a daily habit of noticing the many blessings. Start each day with a list of 10 things you are thankful i.e. grateful for.
- Get rid of toxic influences on your life.
- Ask yourself “ Is this pleasing to God?” This could even include people.
- Serve and uplift others. Find ways to do onto others. Connect with a community of positive, grateful people.
